Anything is possible, and it doesn’t always require a hefty budget. After some research, I’ve discovered affordable ways to improve my life—and yes, of course, my income too. I have a part time job I work from home, however I also believe in the importance of exploring additional income streams.
The pandemic led me back to the “Do it Myself” mindset. I started making my own herbal cream cheese, kefir, and kombucha—delicious treats I used to splurge on when times were better, but now I can enjoy at a fraction of the cost. I’m grateful to have learned how to create these items for so much less. My essential groceries and pet food are conveniently delivered, thanks to my Walmart+ membership. In fact, I haven’t been to a store in person for quite some time! This has made life much easier and saved me time and energy.
This blog is all about turning challenges into opportunities, even when resources are limited. Growing up in a modest household, my brother and I always had what we needed, thanks to our mom’s resourcefulness. I’m grateful for those experiences, as they taught me how to make the most of what I have. We didn’t dine out back then, but we always had home-cooked meals. Sunday afternoons were reserved for freshly baked cakes or cookies to enjoy during coffee time. Those were truly the good old days.
